New Leaf :-

NEW LEAF
Turn over a new leaf with a playfull take on your french leaf beading skills.

French Leaf Lariat
"How beautiful the leaves grow old.
How full of light and color are their last days."
- John Burroughs -

French Leaf Lariat :-

To find out how the white pearl and jet crystal leaf (the one on the right) was beaded, simply see "Abstract Petals" - January 2011.

The other coral-, pearl- and turqoise seed bead leaf is merely a different variation on the same basic technique.  Let your imagination flow and play around with as much different colour schemes, textures and variations as you like.

To make a lariat, simply fix the ends of your leather cord with some leather crimps and use small jump rings to attach the beaded leaves to the loop of the lariat.
